COACH BRAD KNOWLES: Varsity Coach

The 2022-2023 season will be Coach Brad’s 12th year as the Head Coach for the Cedarcrest High School Girls Basketball program.  Brad has been coaching basketball for over 24 years, starting with both boys and girls AAU and select programs before being named Head Coach at Cedarcrest in 2011-12.

Over the last 11 seasons, the Lady Red Wolves record is 145-90, have qualified for the district tournament every year but once, won a league championship and made their first-ever trip to the State Tournament.   I will send over a newer picture of Brad.

Brad has won the following coaching awards:

Cascade Conference Coach of the Year:  2017-18

Cascade Conference Coach of the Year:  2016-17

Cascade Conference Coach of the Year:  2013-14

Cascade Conference Coach of the Year:  2012-13

Coach Brad graduated from Waterville High School and in his senior year led the league in scoring, averaging over 21 points a game and was named to the All-League First Team.

Brad lives here in Duvall and is a School Safety Officer for the Riverview School District.  When he is not coaching basketball, he enjoys working out, golf and fishing.  Coaching basketball runs in Brad’s family.  His late father was a college and high school coach; his brother is the boys head coach at North Creek High School in Bothell and Brad’s son is on the Mount Si High School boys coaching staff.

COACH Brandon Campbell: Varsity Assistant & JV Coach

Coach Brandon grew up in Texas playing basketball and football. He has been coaching for over 14 years and has coached both girls and boys at several different levels. He has been involved with leading and helping several teams develop their youth athletes to perform at the best of their abilities. Over the past 6 years he has coached and lead the Cedarcrest Select Feeder program.  While coaching with Cedarcrest Select he was privileged to coach a great group of girls that started as 3rd graders that could barely dribble to winning the WA Middle School State Basketball Championship the next year. Recently he has been coaching with Northwest Magic, a premier girls youth basketball program focused on developing college ready players. He really enjoys working with the youth and getting them to work hard and build confidence in themselves which leads to them having fun and winning.
