Red Wolves girls ranked strong in district RPI

Red Wolve girls with great news from RPI: The first release of the Northwest RPI standings on the girls’ side is even better news for Cedarcrest’s girls. The Red Wolves are ranked fourth, which if that holds, earns them a first round bye and a second-round home game in the district playoffs. There’s still a lot of basketball to be played though, and there is the issue of star Jaylin Yowell being out due to that knee injury she suffered earlier this season and how the Cedarcrest team will continue to deal with that moving forward, but a high seeding such as this early on gives the Red Wolves some cushion to work with knowing that every league win moving forward will at minimum ensure a home game either in the first or second rounds of the district playoffs.
